Course:
Runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. The course is flat, on the street and sidewalk, making it a perfect first-time run or walk. Leashed pets and strollers are welcome. There will be one water station located at the halfway point.
The 1 mile non-competitive walk/run will start at 8 a.m. but will have a different course than the 5k race.
Parking:
Before entering the Power gate, parking is open across the street at the shopping center, at the ReMax parking lot or Enter through the Power Rd. Main Entrance, park in the tennis court or administration parking lot.
Rec. 1 parking lot is closed from 5:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for the Fall festival and Turkey Trot.
Start/Finish Line:
Race begins and ends at the Rec. 1 Parking lot just inside the Power Rd. Main Gate.
Registration:
Registration is $25 per person aged 5 and older through October 31, 2023. Registration fee increases November 1 to $30. Must register by Tuesday, November 7th to guarantee a t-shirt in your size.
Timing:
Event is chip timed with snapshot photos of athletes crossing the finish line. Results uploaded live to ITS YOUR RACE. Timing provided by Mangled Momentum.
Awards:
Awards Ceremony for the 5K run will be at 10:00 am. Custom Medals are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers (men’s and women’s age groups) and all registrants completing the race receive a commemorative medal.
